I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. After high school, I proudly served 4 years in the U.S. Army, including 6 months in Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait for the first Gulf War. After the Army, I worked full time while obtaining my bachelors degree from Southwest Texas State University. I then worked as a legal assistant for two years before going to law school at South Texas College of Law in Houston.
I have been married for nearly 25 years and have two wonderful sons, Alex and Tommy. I enjoy the rewards that come from representing injured victims and their families by helping them cope with some of the most difficult times in their lives and recovering the maximum compensation possible for them. I have tried over 40 cases to a jury verdict, including criminal cases, family law cases and personal injury cases. In 2011, I attended Gerry Spence’s Trial Lawyers College in Wyoming and it changed the way I practice law for the better.
No matter what result I obtain, my goal in every case is to make sure the people I represent feel I provided them top notch legal representation while treating them like family.
