Matthew Christopher Eagan

I was a sportswriter for many years at the Hartford Courant, where I covered the men’s and women’s basketball teams at the University of Connecticut. I covered two national championship teams and went to five Final Fours. When the newspaper industry bottomed out, I went to law school.
I started as an appellate attorney and argued cases before the Connecticut Appellate Court and the Connecticut Supreme Court. Earlier this year, I moved to the Connecticut Trial Firm after assisting them on an appeal in one of their personal injury cases.
